PCCI is proud to announce that we have been awarded a landmark $250 million contract to modernize and expand critical port infrastructure along the Pacific Northwest coastline. This multi-year project represents one of the most significant maritime development initiatives in the region’s history and underscores PCCI’s position as a leader in complex engineering and maritime solutions.
The contract was awarded following a rigorous competitive bidding process that evaluated technical capabilities, project management expertise, environmental stewardship, and proven track record in delivering large-scale infrastructure projects on time and within budget. PCCI’s comprehensive proposal demonstrated superior value and innovation in addressing the region’s evolving maritime needs.
The comprehensive infrastructure upgrade will encompass the construction of three new deepwater berths capable of accommodating next-generation cargo vessels, the installation of state-of-the-art cargo handling equipment including automated cranes and logistics systems, and the development of sustainable energy infrastructure to support electric and hybrid maritime operations.
Beyond the physical construction, this project will create over 1,200 jobs during the construction phase and is expected to generate an additional 450 permanent positions once operational. The modernized facilities will increase port capacity by 40%, enhance supply chain efficiency for the entire Pacific Northwest region, and position the area as a premier gateway for international trade in the coming decades.
