Design and Engineering
Since 2001, PCCI has continuously been involved in the design, installation, maintenance and repair of floating security barriers to protect U.S. Navy properties at select facilities in the U.S. and overseas. We have developed new components and provided technological improvements to reduce barrier maintenance costs and strengthen performance.
Port Security Barrier Fabrication and Testing
PCCI provided design, engineering, fabrication, and installation support for the development of a new prototype waterfront security barrier that could be placed alongside berthed vessels or piers during temporary barrier gate openings.
Barrier Depot Maintenance
PCCI established a barrier maintenance depot for the Naval Facilities Engineering Command, and has been providing barrier maintenance and repairs at the depot for the past 10 years..
Installations
PCCI has overseen the installation of Port Security Barriers at locations including: Charleston, NC; Kings Bay, GA; Mayport, FL; New London, CT; Norfolk, VA; Quantico, VA; San Diego, CA; Augusta Bay, Italy; La Maddelena, Italy; Rota, Spain; Souda Bay, Crete; and Vancouver, Canada.
